About Me

I studied at Psychosynthesis Trust and I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling (PGDip) which is validated by the Middlesex University and accredited by both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

My experience covers several issues including self-esteem, anxiety, depression, addictions, panic attacks, eating disorders, trauma, psychosexual issues, psychedelic integration and family & relationship concerns. I also support my clients in career choices, life purpose and spirituality.

In addition to my private practice I am a training assistant at the Psychosynthesis Trust, a renowned institution in London Bridge that trains counsellors and psychotherapists. I have volunteered at the Volunteer Hackney Centre visiting people suffering from isolation, as well as various physical and mental health issues, supporting them to meet their life goals and rebuild their independence, and at the Waterloo Community Counselling working with immigrants, focusing on cultural adjustment, abuse, trauma, self-esteem issues and anxiety. I also worked as a therapist for Solace Women Aid supporting women that went through domestic abuse.

Recently I have finished a Sensorimotor Psychotherapy training at the Sensorimotor Institute with Pat Ogden. Sensorimotor is a type of talk therapy that focuses on bringing awareness to the body, unlocking its wisdom.

My work incorporates Integrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, attachment theory, psychoeducation, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Psychosynthesis and Jungian Therapy.

I grew up in a small town in Brazil and moved to London in 2014. Both in Brazil and in London, I worked in the fast paced creative industry. I believe this gave me a deep understanding of human relationships.

Brazil is a vast multicultural society and we deal with aspects of it on a daily basis. I believe that being exposed to such diversity of culture, race, religion, gender, sexuality and social class has made me open and appreciative of these aspects of a society. I am passionate about working with women, people from cross cultural backgrounds and minority groups in general.

I also have a qualification as a yoga teacher in India and I am very interested in working with body related issues and to consider how we store emotions in different parts of our body.

I also facilitate fortnightly workshops about Tarot and Archetypes. The workshops follows the Hero’s Journey and the participants discover one archetype in each meeting. Through guided imagery meditation the participants get in touch with deeper level of consciousness and the archetype becomes more tangible allowing more opportunities for transformation.

I have public liability insurance and I attend regular supervision sessions.

I offer therapy sessions in English and Portuguese.
